As of now, there is no official system available to check the status of your Pakistan passport online if you are within Pakistan. However, if you are a Pakistani residing overseas, you can track your passport online through the respective embassy or consulate website.

Pakistani Passport Tracking by Token/SMS Number

The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports (DGIP) has recently introduced an SMS-based Passport Tracking Intimation System. Applicants can simply send their 11-digit token number to 9988 via SMS to receive instant updates on their passport status, including processing stages like printing and shipment/delivery. These updates will be sent directly to the applicant’s registered mobile numbers.

These updates will be sent directly to the mobile number registered by the applicant, ensuring timely information on the progress of your passport application.

Pakistani Passport Tracking Overseas

To track the status of your Pakistani passport while residing overseas, you can easily do so by visiting the official websites of the respective embassies or consulates. These include locations such as Frankfurt (Germany), Toronto (Canada), Athens (Greece), Milan (Italy), Paris (France), New York (USA), Dubai (UAE), and Kenya.

In order to check the status of your passport application online, you will need to have your tracking number handy, which you should have received during the application process. Simply follow the instructions provided on their websites and input your tracking number to access the current status of your passport.
