Saudi Airlines Passport Validity Notification

Saudi Arabian Airlines has advised all travelers to ensure that they meet minimum passport validity otherwise they will be denied boarding.

The Saudi Airlines Passport Validity Notification advised travel agents “Effective immediately, all type of passengers intending to travel must have a passport with a validity of at least 06 months from the date of arrival. Failure to meet this requirement will result in denial of boarding for the passenger.

The notification also stated “Please be advised that travel agents will be held responsible for above mentioned circumstance.”

The notice also stated that “It is crucial that you inform all your staff members about this updated regulation to avoid any inconvenience to clients and to ensure strict compliance with Immigration policies.”

SAUDIA started out in 1945 with a single twin-engine DC-3 (Dakota) HZ-AAX given to King Abdul Aziz as a gift by the U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. This was followed months later with the purchase of two more DC-3s, and these formed the nucleus of what in few years later was to become one of the world’s largest airlines.

Today SAUDIA has 142 aircraft, including the latest and most advanced wide-bodied jets presently available: B787-9, B777-268L, B777-300ER, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321, and Airbus A330-300.
